Welcome to Grosse Ile High School’s 2009-2010 hockey season. We expect this to be an exciting season for our Team, our School, and the fans!
The team will be lead by senior forwards, Josh Shoup, Justin Keenan, along with new players to our Team, seniors D.J. Hastings, Chris Skehan, and Tyler Soncrant. Our defense is anchored by seniors, Jim Chessrown,and Ryan St.Onge. We have a great schedule against top-ranked Trenton, Brother Rice, SMCC (St. Mary’s Catholic Central), Allen Park, and many more. We have joined the new Southeastern Hockey League, which brings together many of our Division III Downriver rivals, Riverview, Gibraltar, Huron, and Gabriel Richard.
Our Team’s operational philosophy is that we are striving to be winners, on and off the ice. Although we have a young team, you can expect to see us be competitive every game. However, we realize the most important victory is earned, one player at a time, in the classroom, at home, on the job, and on the ice.
